How to delete pages from a PDF

What to expect
The pages really are gone from the new file. Nothing is covered over, and the text on them is not hidden somewhere inside it.
Numbers printed on the pages do not change, so a document that shows page numbers will need fresh ones from Add page numbers.
Links and bookmarks that pointed at a deleted page stop working. The rest of the file is untouched.

No. A PDF must have at least one page, so at least one page has to stay.
Will the remaining pages change?
No. Pages are copied as they are, so text, images and fonts, including Arabic text, stay exactly the same.
Why can’t I open my password-protected PDF?
Protected files are encrypted, so their pages can’t be read or copied. Remove the password first, then open the file again.
Can I change the order of the pages instead?
