What to expect
The new page is genuinely empty: no header, no footer and no page number, even when the rest of the document has them.
You pick its size — the same as the page before it, or A4 or Letter — which matters in a file that mixes sizes.
Blank pages count towards the total, so a numbered document needs numbering again with Add page numbers.
Printers add blank sheets of their own in some double-sided settings; check the print preview before a long run.

What size will the new page be?
“Same as neighbour” copies the size and the direction of the page before the gap, which is what you want inside a normal document. You can also ask for A4 or US Letter, in portrait or landscape.
Is the page really empty?
Yes. Nothing is drawn on it: no lines, no page number, no watermark. It is there for you to print on, write on, or fill in later with another tool.
Can I add several pages at once?
Yes. Set “How many” to add up to 20 blank pages in the same spot in one go.
Do the other pages change?
No. The rest of the file is untouched, so text, images, links and bookmarks keep working. Only the page numbering after the new page shifts along, as you would expect.
Why can’t I open my password-protected PDF?
Protected files are encrypted, so pages can’t be added to them. Remove the password first, then open the file again.
