Splitting copies pages, so every piece keeps the original quality and page size.
Ranges are written as 1-3, 5, 8- (to the end). Arabic-Indic digits work as well.
When the split makes several files you can take them together in a ZIP, which phones open with a tap, or one at a time.
There is no automatic split by chapter or heading: PDFs rarely record where a chapter begins, so you choose the ranges.

No. Splitting happens entirely inside your browser, on your own device. Your file is never sent to us or anyone else.
How do I split a PDF by page range?
Use a dash for a range and commas between ranges. For example, “1-3, 5, 8-” creates three files: pages 1 to 3, page 5, and page 8 to the end. Arabic digits work too.
How do I save every page as a separate PDF?
Choose “Split every few pages” and set it to 1 page per file. You’ll get one PDF for each page.
What is the ZIP file?
When splitting creates several files, you can download them all at once in a single ZIP file. Most computers and phones open a ZIP file with a double-click or a tap. You can also download each file separately.
Will the quality of my pages change?
No. Pages are copied exactly as they are, so text, images and fonts, including Arabic text, stay the same.
Why can’t I split a password-protected PDF?
Protected PDFs are encrypted, so their pages can’t be copied into new files. Remove the password first, then add the file again.
